Even the adult lions couldn’t resist joining in the fun, rolling around with the cubs and showing age is just a number! As soon as the cubs left their sleeping quarters, they were instantly drawn to the mysterious parcels and spent the morning feasting, playing and having a ‘roar-some’ time together. To celebrate the occasion, keepers created a range of giant eye-catching, animal themed gift boxes, which were filled with tasty treats and placed inside the lion reserve. The youngsters, born on 27 August and 17 September 2019, have been a popular sight at the Worcestershire attraction over the last year and although are still referred to as ‘cubs’ by their team of keepers, they are more like adventurous teens. Staff at West Midland Safari Park have thrown a big, ‘king-of-the-jungle-sized’ birthday party for their seven lion cubs, who are all celebrating their first birthday this year. The Wristband Office will close one hour before the Theme Park rides close. Wristbands must be fitted by the cashier at the point of purchase, are non-transferable and invalid if removed. Wristbands and ride tickets are only valid on the day of purchase and no refunds are available. Wristbands and ride tickets are available to purchase separately on the day of your visit from the Adventure Theme Park. Please bring proof of blue badge, PIP or DLA on the day of your visit.

We will issue a carer wristband free of charge when a guest with disabilities purchases a full price Adult or Child wristband. On water rides, this person must be a person over the age of 18. If the ride requires 1:1 accompaniment of a child due to their height, each child would need to be accompanied by at least one person who meets the height requirements. Everyone, including under 3s, will need a wristband or ride tickets to go on the rides if they meet the minimum height requirements.
Wristband and ride ticket prices are charged in addition to Park admission.
